Responsible Gambling
Gambling is not an income source or a way to solve financial problems. Only use money you can afford to lose, and stop if play affects your bills, relationships, sleep or wellbeing. Bonuses and cashback do not remove that risk.
Set limits before you start
- Decide a spending and time limit in advance. Do not increase it after losing.
- Keep rent, food, bills and savings separate from any gambling budget. Never borrow to play.
- Take regular breaks and avoid gambling when distressed, intoxicated or trying to recover a loss.
- Use account limits or time-out tools where available, and ask support to explain when changes take effect.
When a break is not enough
Repeatedly breaking your limits, hiding spending or returning to win back losses are reasons to stop. Ask the account provider about self-exclusion and how it applies across connected brands. Do not create another account to get around it. Blocking software and bank gambling-payment controls may provide additional support.
Independent help in Germany
Check dein Spiel offers information, a self-test and counselling routes for people affected by gambling and their relatives. You can seek help before a problem becomes severe. For English-language support, Gambling Therapy provides international resources.
If you feel in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For debts, seek qualified debt advice instead of gambling for a possible repayment.
Protecting minors
Keep gambling accounts and payment details inaccessible to children. Sign out on shared devices and use parental controls where appropriate. Never allow someone under the applicable legal age to gamble through your account.
Our account guide can help with ordinary sign-in problems, but a self-exclusion should remain in place. For corrections to these pages, use About & contact.
